Course Description: The courses use a combination of rail trails and gravel roads in scenic Renfrew County.

Highlight Sections: Murphy Rd, K&P Trail, Ottawa Valley Trail, McNab/Braeside Trail, CN Trail, Grant Rd

Route Distances: 105km, 75km, 40km

Information and Instuctions: 

  1. LOCATION: Calabogie Lions Club Hall & Outdoor Covered Arena: 574 Mill St, Calabogie, K0J 1H0

  2. START TIMES: EPIC Course will start at 9:30am Medio Course will start at 9:45am Petit Course will start at 10am 

  3. The finish for all events is on the K&P Trail just before Calabogie Road 

  4. No on-site registration- preregistration only-bibs and chips are handed out in the morning of the event 

  5. The roads are open to traffic. You must follow all the rules of the Highway Traffic Act.  

  6. The rail trails are multi-use trails including for ATV’s. We’re going to try and open some of the gates to avoid bottlenecking. Please slow down and look before crossing roads on the trails.

  7. The rail trails are stonedusted but there can be periodic rough sections

  8. The medio course has a short 900m section of unmaintained road.

  9. Cyclosportif participants will be required to wear race numbers and timing chips 

  10. CATEGORIES: Open Men and Open Women for all distances. Podiums will be held for all 3 distances for men and women 

  11. The Renfrew County ATV Club will be on hand to provide event support and route patrol 

  12.  Aid stations will be located in strategic locations.  

  13. The routes will be signed but it is the riders responsibility to know the course. We recommend downloading the gpx file to your bicycle computer.
